This one holds a special place in our hearts because Mish & Lor was founded on the beautiful Gulf Coast. The icons of this design are the icons of all our Gulf stories: the seafaring pelican, the prickly palms, structures on stilts (that's the Middle Bay Lighthouse there), and quiet moments on the water.
Fact for Fun: The Brown Pelican of the Gulf Coast was put on the Endangered Species list in 1970. Our beloved friends made a huge comeback, though! Thanks to thebanning of DDT pesticides and concerted conservation efforts, the Brown Pelican is no longer endangered.
